Goal
In Seven Rounds you will try to collect as many points as possible in your hand during seven rounds. The player with the most points at the end of the game wins.
Gameplay
On your turn you throw a card on the pile, each card has its own effect. For example, taking two cards from your opponent, discarding your two highest cards or a card to protect yourself against these types of cards. At the end of your turn, you replenish your hand count to four cards. At the end of the seven rounds you add up the values and the player with the highest points wins.
Review
Seven Rounds is a fun, fast-paced card game. It reminds us a bit of the card game ‘Bullying’. It is not a super innovative game, but it is very nice to play with the right group. We don’t think the game comes into its own very well with two players, but in a group it is certainly an entertaining game!
